| Loss of Memory I read somewhere that DDM asked a friend of hers if she had written *Gone with the Wind*. I find it terribly sad that such a talented individual would not remember which books she had written. Has anyone else read anything similar? | Wed 17/05/23 08:10 AM |

| I’ve read the same somewhere. In Margaret Forster’s biography it says she denied having written some of her own books and reasons that perhaps it was an act of self-denial, because she was mourning the loss of her writing career - this isn’t a direct answer to your question but maybe shows her attitude to what she did/didn’t write was influenced by more than memory loss. | Posted on Tue 23/04/24 11:20 PM |
